Astute

Our fulfilment warehouse uses an off-the-shelf warehouse management system, Astute. When our lorries bring stock into our warehouse, it is logged into Astute, which then allocates the appropriate place in the warehouse for the item. This allows us to carefully manage the stock in our warehouse, and minimise the required space per item. When orders come in, via Pandora or otherwise, Astute confirms whether the order can be fulfilled using stock on hand. Once it is confirmed, the orders are listed to be fulfilled. When stock levels get low, Astute flags this product for reordering, though all orders are currently placed by hand.

DeeTrac

Once an order has been placed onto a lorry for transportation to store, it is recorded onto DeeTrac, our bespoke parcel tracking system. This allows us to offer parcel level tracking through our web site. Once the parcel is delivered, the time of delivery and name of signatory is recorded both electronically and on hard copy. This allows us to provide a consolidated delivery note of goods delivered to store, with the provision of an electronic manifest so that you can check online when your parcel was delivered.

Pandora

In today's modern business world, the availability of up-to-date information is vital for companies to stay on top. For this reason we have developed a bespoke handheld system for our merchandisers in store. This technology (Pandora) allows us to give each merchandiser daily, unique orders specific to the store in which they are working, making last minute changes possible. By linking Pandora to our warehouse management system, Astute, our merchandisers in store can place orders which are being fulfilled even before they leave the store, allowing the shortest lead time in replenishment.
Along with day to day stock replenishment, the technology enables us to:
- produce photographs of completed work and fixtures
- perform signature capture
- record comments
- receive updated Planograms direct to hand
- Provide live updates of activity as it progresses
