Our Field Merchandisers are Dee Set’s greatest asset and with over 2,500 colleagues working nationwide for some of the UK’s favourite retailers and brands, they’re most definitely the biggest part of the Dee Set family.
This is why we invest in every one of them, giving them a voice in how we shape our future, and value each and every colleague.
Within the retail industry it can be tricky to ensure part-time Field Merchandisers who are based across the length and breadth of the UK feel involved in the wider business.
How many times do you hear how easy it is for field based colleagues to feel isolated and dis-engaged?

We invest so all of our Field Merchandisers have Field Support Managers to coach, train and mentor them in their roles. We’ve recently embraced new technologies such as Facebook Workplace which is only enhancing further our cohesive field community.
Most importantly we listen to our employees, this is why we invite every colleague across Dee Set to participate in our annual ‘We’re Listening’ survey.
Our ‘We’re Listening’ survey gives every single Dee Set colleague the opportunity to share their thoughts and voice their opinions on what is really important to them.
For this survey we invest in using an outsourced agency so the survey is completely anonymous, allowing colleagues to feel secure in their responses to questions such as – management performance, our vision, how we add value to our clients and the most crucial – how as a business we listen and act on the valuable responses to continually improve, enhance our offering and retain our most important assets in them.
